IMAP setup Recommended

1. Open Settings:

   • Tap the Settings app on your iPhone's home screen.

2. Navigate to Accounts:

   • Scroll down and tap Mail.

   • Then, tap Accounts.

3. Add a New Account:

   • Tap Add Account.

   • Select Other.

4. Add Mail Account:

   • Tap Add Mail Account.

5. Enter Your Account Information:

   • Name: Enter your name.

   • Email: Enter your email address.

   • Password: Enter your email account password.

   • Description: Enter a description for the account (e.g., "Work Email").

6. Enter IMAP Server Information:

   • Incoming Mail Server:

     • Host Name: imap.hostinger.com

     • User Name: Enter your email address.

     • Password: Enter your email account password.

   • Outgoing Mail Server:

     • Host Name: smtp.hostinger.com

     • User Name: Enter your email address (even though it says it's optional, make sure to fill it in).

     • Password: Enter your email account password (even though it says it's optional, make sure to fill it in).

7. Save Settings:

   • Tap Next in the top right corner.

   • Your iPhone will verify the account settings. If everything is correct, it will proceed to the next step.

8. Complete Setup:

Once verification is complete, tap Save to finish the setup.

General instructions as Android phones have a few email clients.

Step 1: Open the Email App

• Open the default Email app on your Android device. If it's your first time using the app, you'll be prompted to add an account. Otherwise, go to Settings in the app and select Add Account.

Step 2: Enter Your Email Address

• Enter your full email address (e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com) and tap Next.

Step 3: Select Account Type

• Choose IMAP as the account type.

Step 4: Enter Incoming Server Settings (IMAP)

1. IMAP Server: imap.hostinger.com

2. Security Type: Select SSL/TLS.

3. IMAP Port: 993

4. Username: Enter your full email address (e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com).

5. Password: Enter your email account password.

Once done, tap Next to proceed.

Step 5: Enter Outgoing Server Settings (SMTP)

1. SMTP Server: smtp.hostinger.com

2. Security Type: Select SSL/TLS.

3. SMTP Port: 465

4. Require Sign-In: Ensure this option is checked.

5. Username: Enter your full email address (e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com).

6. Password: Enter your email account password.

Tap Next to continue.

Step 6: Set Account Options

• Choose your Sync frequency (how often your device should check for new emails).

• Set your notifications, and other preferences.

• Tap Next once you're done.

Step 7: Name Your Account

• Optionally, name your account (e.g., Work Email), and enter your name as you'd like it to appear in outgoing emails.

Tap Done, and your Hostinger IMAP email should now be set up and ready to use on your Android device!
